Atharva Karulkar joined as a Master's student in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at IIT-Bombay. Earning various fellowships from the Government of India like DBT (Department of Biotechnology), UGC/CSIR (University Grants Commission/ Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) and many more, he continued his work as a PhD student in the Immunoengineering lab. Devoting six years of his budding career to CAR technology development, he has presented his work at national and international conferences.
